Conference Notice
銆€銆€Since the first "Contrasts and Convergence in Chinese Music: International Conference on Contemporary Studies of Chinese Music in a Global Perspective" was held in 2019, the conference has become an important platform for spreading Chinese musical culture, displaying latest research results of Chinese and Western contemporary music, encouraging international music academic exchanges, and promoting scholars to pay attention to and study Chinese music culture.
銆€銆€Based on the successful holding of the previous two sessions, 鈥淐ontrasts and Convergence in Chinese Music: 3rd International Conference on Contemporary Studies of Chinese Music in a Global Perspective鈥?will be held in Beijing, China on October 20-23, 2023.
銆€銆€This conference is presented by the Central Conservatory of Music, and undertaken by the Institute of Musicology of the Central Conservatory of Music, China Literature and Art Review (Central Conservatory of Music) Base. The conference is co-organized by the European Foundation for Chinese Music Research and its affiliated journal CHIME, the Center for World Music of the University of Hildesheim / the University of Music, Drama and Media Hannover. 銆€銆€Conference arrangements
銆€銆€After the announcement of the shortlist, the organizing committee will send an invitation letter to the participants. According to the international conference practice, the travel and accommodation expenses of the participants shall be borne by themselves. The conference organizing committee will cover meal expenses for the formal participants, while the informal participants are not included.
銆€銆€Any uncovered matters will be announced separately.
